Where did he get this?

In an e-mail out to Bill Bolling supporters, they blatantly accuse Connaughton of "Work Polls-The Connaughton Team has been telling their supporters to vote three and four times in the Primary. Sean Connaughton has also hired out of state people to come in and man a 72 Hour Get Out the Vote Plan. Based on this new information, we need the support of every Bolling volunteer on Primary Day to ensure a fair election." and then "Signs- Despite the fact that some of the Connaughton team has been tearing down and vandalizing Bill Bolling signs for the last 6 weeks, we expect our volunteers to maintain a higher standard of conduct and refrain from engaging in similar activities." -Worthy of tabloids-

TC --

Any chance you'll be posting the latest newsletter from the Connaughton camp? It refutes very clearly the lies and distortions of the Bolling camp - especially in reference to Connaughton's real comments about the elimination of the car tax.

Once one reads the Connaughton release with full text quotes, it is quite clear that Bolling pulled out one word here and there, completely out of context.

Kind of like this:

Me: "I really hope Bill Bolling wins -- wins a kick in the pants, that is."

If Bolling were to quote this he'd say that I said - "I really hope Bill Bolling wins." And to say that I said that is to lie.

The Bolling camp has certainly defined a new bottom for nonsense in a campaign. I hope none of these people - right to the top man - never enter Virginia politics again. they have run a campaign without any substance other than to denigrate Bolling's opponent. I know they don't have much to work with on their side, but there really ought to be a voters' revolt against this sort of thing.

I know most of the people at the top and middle levels of the Sean campaign. The idea that anyone would urge vote fraud or encourage sign destruction is outrageous and false. These are an honorable crew in every respect, right to the top man.

I have to agree. This isn't the first Connaughton campaign I've been involved with, and I can say with the utmost sincerity that Sean puts integrity first. This Bolling guy makes me absolutely sick. Spin is one thing, but the blatant lies are just too over-the-top.

Can you post the text of this Bolling email?

It's not on his website.

It's unfortunate that this blog's "owners" don't bother to take time to read comments posted here and respond to them. Vapid.
