Wheres Tom Tancredo when you need him?

I found an interesting article when perusing the internet. Today the Census Bureau announced that Texas was the 4th state to have a majority minority population, "YEE HAW!". Obviously Texas has had some major border leakage under the Governorships of Richards, and Bush. I understand that President Bush wishes to Court the Latino vote, and usually comes out in support for them, but if he continues to let his State be literally taken over, I don't know if the Conservatism in Texas will continue. Many of the highly Mexican populated counties on the border voted overwhelmingly for Kerry, and most of the Congressional Districts that Border Mexico are held by Democratic Congressmen. If the migration of immigrants continues moving into Texas, eventually Republicans might lose this state of massive electoral votes. It seems voters are picking up this issue before either party has the courage to do so. If studies like this continue, Tom Tancredo's off chance at the '08 nod keep increasing. Tancredo/Buchanan '08?

Sad thing is I might actually back that ticket. I know our boy TC would be foaming at the mouth for such a team.

No one can ever call the GOP boring as long as Tancredo is in it.

As for an Oval Office run, I say why the Hell not? Maybe someone will start paying attention to the illegal immigration problem.

God knows the President doesn't.

That ticket would be great! Sure win for the Democrats on that one.

I agree with you guys much of the time. But Tancredo's comments about nuking Muslim holy sites in retaliation for a massive terror attack here dropped him right off my list of eccentric, but tolerable demagogues. His remarks will kill (and perhaps have killed) Americans, both military and civilian. They were reckless, stupid and certain to be used by enemies of America to incite violence. They are already up on the extremeist muslim web sites. We all ought to put some distance between us and this guy. I think BlueintheCommonwealth may be quite prescient. Not everything our Democratic colleagues say is mistaken.
