6th Virginia Blog Carnival

All of us here at TC are happy to host Virginia's 6th Blog Carnival. We begin with Bearing Drift's answer to why the Florida Gators lost to Alabama. Kelli Preciup from Reston is a first timer on the VBC, she was hesitant her site would be "appropriate" on VBC. I recommend guys check this one out. From down in Richmond, Rob Sterling discusses the Times-Dispatch on Crime. (Crime, in Richmond? I thought Tim Kaine cleaned it up) Cries in the Night discusses three albums worth a look. Become enlightened as you drink with the Wisdom Granted from Big Walker Mountain. My friend Chad Dotson, has a friend, who made friends in New Orleans. An electrical engineer, not named emeril, discovers that Harriet Miers may not be so bad after all. Rick Sincere creates an evolving post. Lowell at Raising Kaine shows us why Northern Virginia is truly unique. Norman Leahy touches our hearts here at TC, with discussion of moderation, but not for Kaine. Northern Crown comes back from Bangalore, and helps me appreciate the huge green highway signs. A quandary is discovered at the Virginia Teenage Republicans. Blue in VA 's name becomes literal, as he discusses Kilgore's attack ad. Kenton Ngo at 750 volts, electrifies us with his viewpoint on the 10 Commandments Commonwealth Watches Out for Our Freedom of Speech. Our personal favorite, Jim Young at Skeptical Observor, dives into disease. The Kilgore/Kaine debate is discussed Not Larry Sabato for hosting last weeks VBC, and include their post with 101 comments as of 3:24 this morning. UPDATE: Brandon talks about The rest of the schedule is as follows October 17: northerncrownOctober 24: SophistpunditOctober 31: River City RapidsNovember 7: The (not so) Daily Me

TC and Friends,
I am surprised to see no blogging on Sunday's debate between Jerry Kilgore and Tim Kaine. I think Kaine probably did better...Kilgore seemed very nervous..I didnt catch all of it but Kaine seemed strong

I didn't think that I'd written anything particularly good in the past week, so I didn't submit anything, but I definitely enjoyed the reading material. Thanks for hosting this week.
