Putting the Genie Back in the Bottle?

It's halftime of the Redskins/Chiefs game (we're up 7-6), and I just saw the "Stanley" ad yet again. Only this time, it was significantly shorter. And, it contained no mention of Adolph Hitler. So this mkes me wonder: did the Kilgore campaign finally get the message on their colossal blunder or is this just a shorter version to save money/place more ads?

Kilgore's campaign hase been drastically pumped up in the past week since the release of the ads.

The Hitler ad, and other woman ad have helped the campaign's polls increase, to their current lead over Kaine.

I saw the short ad before the long one, so I believe they just have two ads--one for the 15-second block and another for the 30-second block.

Why has NO ONE acknowledged that the reason that Kaine wouldn't kill Hitler is becasue they are BOTH papists?

Kaine would not want to kill one of his own kind.

That's just plain ignorant, M.O.M. I know of NO Catholic who considers Hitler to be a "papist" as you called it. There were a number of Catholics, especially in Poland, that Hitler's regime put into concentration camps, including some of my grandfather's relatives. So, as much as I disagree with Kaine's opposition to the death penalty (which the Catholic Church DOES acknowledge there are legitimate circumstances under which it can be employed), I'm just shocked that someone could even think that is the connection.

The fraudulent M.O.M. needs to review his history lessons in a numnber areas before making such ignorant statements.

I think you guys have been hit by a "Pastor John". Knowing who the "original m.o.m." is, I can say that he wouldn't say this stuff, and people who really feel that way wouldn't use this forum to say it.

If the original M.O.M is who I think he is, it would be totally out of character. Next he'll be bashing the Irish.

I might bash the Irish since they're nothing but poor Scotmen, but that's only from a Scot perspective.

While I might agree with that to a point, as a Scot who married an Irish Catholic, I'd definitely keep it to myself. Or suffer unspeakable consequences.

As someone who could be described as a Scots-Irish-German Catholic with Jewish ancestors and a multi-racial family, I'm not even sure where I should begin being offended.

Good thing that I changed my "cultural identity" simply to "American".
