Who's next? And does Virginia play a role?

From today's Hotline Weekly:

Bush is said by one ally to be "angry" at conservatives and by another as "sad." But aides indicated he is not out for vengeance and intends to nominate a staunch conservative within a week, perhaps as early as tomorrow. Who will it be? One Republican with ties to the White House: "McConnell, Batchelder, Sykes, Williams, and Corrigan." One Republican close to the White House said he hoped Bush would nominate a reliable conservative in time for Virginia voters to notice.
I'm still pulling for Janice Rogers Brown on this one. W. needs to take some inspiration from George Allen and just "knock their soft teeth down their whining liberal throats." On a side note, yes, I am still a part of TC despite my lack of recent posts and the launch of my Virginia Virtucon blog. Think of TC like the band Genesis and I'm like the guitarist, Mike Rutherford who had his Mike + The Mechanics solo project going while still part of Genesis.
