Craddock Concedes

In the hard fought race in the 67th, Republican Chris Craddock has conceded. Although his 72 Hour Program, and ground game were superior to Democrat Caputo, he could not overcome the horrible press, and unusual ammount of Democrats who came to the polls. I hope Chris will one day run again.

Not Surprised. Not Sad.

The Republican Party is a better place without this embarrassment.

In two years the district will be begging for a Republican delegate!

Waddell has won in the 68th. Not a good night for the far-right.

Craddock's beaten.
Black's toast.

We're coming for you next Cuccinelli!

Senator Cuccinelli is growing on me.

He seems more level-minded than he is made out to be.

I hope Craddock never runs again. The guy hates gays, he is prejudiced against blacks, and he has shown that he will lie to any extent in an effort to win.

Typical of the religious right these days.

As to the writer of this blog: why would you want a guy like Craddock to run again when his idiocy cost your party a delegate seat they have held for the past 17 years?? He was a TERRIBLE candidate.

I will not contibute the loss of the district to Chris Craddock alone.

He would be a great candidate for school board/possibly state-senate, as long as he can keep his nose clean.

LOL. Sure, the 72hr plan was definately tremendous and definately better than what the Dems were doing. That, of course, is why Democratic turnout was so much higher.

TC, you are delusional in regard to Craddock. This kid's political career is over. IF he ever runs again, ANYWHERE, those quotes will dog him around and be re-printed. He will be forced to defend those ridiculous statements, and we have all learned that he can't do that effectively.

He should dissapear from public life and stick to more simple endeavors.

Craddock on the school board? You've got to be kidding me. I think his commitment to public education is in serious question. Add to that you, a high school student, have a better civic resume than he does. His claim to fame is that he is backed by the anti-tax, anti-public school crowd.

Of yeah, and when he does go and talk with high school students (who he doesn't want to get any sex education at all), he spouts off falsehoods about AIDS in Africa and homosexuality (which probably doesn't have too much place in schools) and then gets schooled by a couple of high school students. Yeah, that's the guy I want setting Fairfax County Education policy.
