Exit Polls and Turnout

The first person in the blogosphere to start citing exit polls and turnout statistics today is going to get a giant can of STOMPLE (TM) opened on them. As we all know, the heavy turnout in the 2004 elections resulted in President-elect Kerry prepping his acceptance speech based upon exit polls. I'll only deal with hard numbers here. Actual numbers of people who have voted in a particular precinct or actual vote results as reported by the Board of Elections after the polls close tonight. So far, the only hard numbers I have are that as of 6:15 A.M., 35 people had voted in Potomac Precinct in the Dumfries District and only 2 people had voted in the River Oaks Precinct in the Woodbridge District. By this time, the early rush was over and there was no one left in line for either precinct. These two precincts vote at Potomac High School and are located in the 52nd District. They are also the home precincts to the Dent family, Hilda Barg's relatives. Hilda was working alone outside the polls there while Frederick had three people working outside. Frederick also crushed Barg in the sign wars at this precinct (by at least 10-1), but we'll see how that translates into votes later tonight.
