Kaine to Build Coalitions

The Free-Lane Star tells us that Tim Kaine, John Chichester, and Bill Howell have already planned to work together this legislative session.

So long as Howell is in the equation, there's hope.

I still don't get Chichester. I saw him in NYC at the 2004 GOP National Convention (he just went up for the day) and he appeared to be the loneliest Virginian there. Tell me why he's a Republican again?

Heck, Chichester, a supposed big Red Sox fan, didn't even respond to the letter I sent his office asking him to look into getting Red Sox license plates issued here in Virginia. That gives me pause to not only question his Republican credentials, but his Red Sox Nation credentials as well!

Hey, NOVA-9, perhaps this is a piece of bipartisan legislation we can work on -- getting BoSox plates here in VA. If they could have issued them in NY, there's no reason why they can't issue them here. (Yes, NY did issue them until 12/31/04 -- right after they won the Series NY pulled them. Stupid Pataki....)

Chichester is famous for not responding to people outside his district. I guess that once he figured out that he would never move up the food chain betyond the Senate, there was no point in ctering to people outside his own constituency.

And know this info about the Red Sox plates in NY, I think I'm now supporting Patacki for President!
