State Board of Elections Refers Kaine campaign to Commonwealth's Attorney for Possible Prosecution

Breaking News! This slapdown stems from this.

And who did the exact same thing....

Gee, that would be Jerry Kilgore.

But he had the nerve to behave unethically after he complained about Kaine behaving unethically.

THAT takes some stones!

Well, if you saw the mailer which made it look like it came from the RNC and Club for Growth, you'd know just how illegal what Kaine's people did was.

I think the point that Anon is trying to make is that Kilgore just sent out a similar mailer with the Donkey logo singing the praises of Russ Potts. It was targeted to Democrats in a effort to get them to vote Potts instead of Kaine.

Kilgore should have either cried foul about Kaine doing it OR sent out his own mailer using a similar tactic. Doing both is hypocritical. If it's illegal and unethical for Kaine, why is it ok for Kilgore?

I'm the 11:27 anon - and I saw BOTH mailings FYI.

I thought Kaine's was waaay over the line. Really made me think twice about Kaine's integrity.

And then Kilgore turns around and does EXACTLY the same thing - only he does it AFTER he gets done whining about Kaine doing it.

(P.S. I say Kilgore was whining. At the time he complained I felt he was fully justified in complaining. Now that he's done it himself, he is just a whiner.)

Ideology surely does blind some folks - perhaps not to the same extent that it *appears* to have blinded ol' Walt, but blinded nonetheless.

But Kaine is filing a complaint against Kilgore, so doesn't that make him a whiner also?

Integrity? INTEGRITY?????

I've been watching republican politics for 40 years and it never ever changes. Republicans lie when it would be easier to tell the truth. Call it hardball, I call it abject total perpetual dishonesty.

Check out the following that was mailed to Democratic voters as if Russell Potts were the Democratic nominee running against the republican Tim Kaine: You guys don't know how to tell the truth. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I will never vote for a republican for any office ever and I hopefully await Karl's indictment, Scooter's conviction, Delay's convictions, and Cheney's impeachment. America deserves better than these lying SOBs.

Conservatives? OK. Lying bastards, not OK. Clean-up your own house.
