Survey USA Poll UPDATE

Chad over at Commonwealth Conservative has this up on that Survey USA Poll that purportedly showed Kaine up by 9 points. Tonight's poll results had it tied. And if they already have their results in from tonight's polling, that's bad news for Kaine since they must have started before many GOPers got home from work. (It helps to be friends with a professional pollster.) Kilgore by at least 2 percent tomorrow. Potts costs Kaine the election.

I say Kilgore by 3 - Bolling by 5 - McDonnell by 9.

No way any state-wide Republican gets 9.

Hate to break it to you, but Dems work too: in fact more of them do. The union guys especially often work shifts that pretty never have them home to recieve polls. That's one reason samples have to be taken over several days and even then normed out to match the population and likely voting habits.

Not to quibble, but Kilgore got 60.1% in 2001 to McEachin's 39.2; Both Gilmore and Earley won by more than 13% in 1997.

So it is possible...remember, 55% will yield a 10% edge...

That being said, I tend to think the spread will be more like 1-3-7 than the above 3-5-9
