Davis Wants More Oversight

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that:

In an interview last week, Rep. Tom Davis, R-Va., chairman of the House Government Reform Committee, said "it's a fair comment" that the GOP-controlled Congress has done insufficient oversight and "ought to be" doing more
This comes in response from Democrats who demanded:
Davis, who is also the chairman of the select committee probing the Katrina response, issue subpoenas to get e-mails and communications of White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card and three other White House officials.
A Republican controlled committee issuing a subpoena for Bush's Chief of Staff.. I don't think it will happen.

It certainly should. This administration is out of control.
