The Funniest Show You're Not Watching

Okay, so I'm addicted to "Arrested Development" on FOX. The writing is smart and funny, the acting is sharp and the whole package put together is some of the most original stuff you've seen on network television, certainly at least since "Seinfeld." (And they made their second mention of blogs this season last night.) Earlier this season, they had the "I'm Oscar" blog where the twin brother of the father on the show was trying to convince people they had the wrong person in prison. Last night, it was Scott Baio's turn as he mentioned his own blog -- "Bob Loblaw's Law Blog". With a variety of "Happy Days" actors and references, but set in a much more twisted reality, this show should have much greater appeal to grown-up Gen-Xers. Ron "Richie Cunningham" Howard is a producer and does the narrative voice-overs on every episode. The first two seasons, Henry "The Fonz" Winkler was the bumbling, morally corrupt attorney for the family. This season, Scott "Ciacci" Baio steps up as the new attorney with a quip from Howard that they needed someone to appeal to a younger demographic. And last week, when talking about a disease called "Graft Versus Host," one character said it sounded like a tennis match between Steffi Graff and Happy Days star Donnie Host, to which Ron Howard voiced over, "That's Donnie Most." Classic stuff. So catch those re-runs on FOX and get hold of Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD to find comedy gems that you won't soon forget!

I've watched "Arrested Development" a number of times.

It's not funny. At best, a few ideas that don't quite make it. But most of the time, it's "they expect me to like this?"

Disagree. That show is a riot. Anyone who thinks differently hates America and wants to help the terrorists kill Christmas.
