The Hot Stove League (Baseball, not Politics Edition)

Chad over at Commonwealth Conservative isn't the only baseball fan in the VA political blogosphere. Here's something that I would like to see. That would be a nice capstone to a Hall of Fame career, returning to the place that launched the Rocket....

You read my mind on this, Jim. I was listening to SportsTalk 980 a few days ago when the subject of Clemens and the Astros came up. The statement was made that he's probably done in Houston. First thought that came to mind? The Rocket back in Bean Town.

Of course, I'm a Yankees fan, but whaataareyagannnadooo?

Glad to see another baseball fan in the VA political blogosphere.

Well, it's kinda like baseball -- it's the American League. The only real baseball is played in the National League.

Except the National League can't seem to beat the AL in the World Series or recent All-Star Games.

Last 8 World Series games, the AL is 8-0 (Red Sox & White Sox both sweeping their respective series.)
