Blogosphere flexes its muscle in U.S. House leadership race

The blogosphere is rising up and taking a stand in the upcoming House Republican leadership race. National Review and the Club for Growth have both already endorsed Rep. John Shadegg (R-Ariz.) to be the next Majority Leader and conservative blogs are stampeding towards him. Meanwhile, House Speaker Denny Haster has asked Rep. Bob Ney (R-Ohio) to step down as Chairman of the House Administration Cmte. given his ties to lobbyist Jack Abramoff. A little bloodletting in the short-term could be very healthy in the long run.
