BOOOOOOOO

It looks like the rumors are true.. Prince William has denied an invitation from Chairman Connaughton and Prince William County to attend the 275th birthday of the county. Also on Tuesday, county spokeswoman Liz Bahrns discussed plans for celebrating Prince William's 275th birthday this year. She said Britain's Prince William has turned down two invitations to join the festivities in the county that shares his name. "He's very busy, and he's not coming," Bahrns said. "But we're going to celebrate anyway." As reported in the WaPo along with a summary of Connaughton's State of the County

I suspect that, at some point in the future, Prince (or King) William will visit the United States, and might even come to our little jurisdiction.

I hope that the Powers That Be at the time remember this snub. A little payback from the Colonials.
