Pro-Life March

Before I came into work, I checked out the pro-life march and joined them for a few blocks. I have never been to a march before, but still I can't image they are all as massive as this is. The streets are packed around the Capitol, and people are coming in swarms into the Senate office buildings. My favorite chant had to be "JESUS" (statement) "HES PRO-LIFE!"(response) Tens of thousands of people waving their pro-life slogans and crosses. I also think I saw more Catholic priests than I did at the Vatican-no joke.

That's your prerogative, TC, but that would be your decision, not mine.

Willis is just a knee jerk leftist... TC you should block his IP address. He contributes nothing to the dialogue... all he does is remind us how childish he is.

We don't need that clutter.

The March for Life is amazing... this year definitely seems bigger than most but they are always an increadible and inspirational event. I am stunned at how many young people attend compared with the much older pro-abortion crowd. America's future is pro-life.

In a way, I'm hoping Roe v. Wade is overturned. I'm not busy impregnating any women currently, and overturning that ruling would likely mark the end of Republican majorities across the country.

seriously though..there were THOUSANDS of high schoolers, college kids...all out there caring about this issue.

I agree..the pro-choice crew in america is waning

Come on Willis--we know the truth...your not impregnating women because they won't have you. But your pets sure are on edge!

Usually it's 20 degrees and snowing, so the crowds are not as large.

The pro-choice people, as you would expect from people who want to use abortion for birth control, take the easy way out, scheduling their march in april when the weather is much better.

I heard a theory once that Roe v. Wade is responsible for George W. Bush being President.

Assume the following:
1) 38 million abortions have been performed in the U.S. since Roe.
2) Florida ranks third among states for abortions performed each year.
3) A disporportionate number of the children who were aborted in Florida would have grown up in Florida had they not been aborted.
4) While there are exceptions, children disproportionately share their parents' values on issues such as abortion.
5)Therefore, children who would have been aborted by their pro-abortion parents would mostly have grown up to be pro-abortion had they not been aborted.
6) If fewer abortions had happened, there would be more people in every state who were raised by pro-abortion parents, but especially in Florida, as it is the number three state for abortions.
7) Roe was approved in 1973, the first "generation" of aborted children would now be in their twenties or thirties and voting.
8) If just 600 of them had been alive to vote for Al Gore, George W. Bush would be sitting in his living room in Crawford, Texas right now with his feet on the coffee table.

Think about it...

I personally believe that it was just one little boy who is responsible for George W. Bush being president.

Kid by the name of Elian Gonzalez....

mw- you are wrong.

ELECTION FRAUD, plus a great amount of idiocy among the general populus, is responsible for GWB being president.

You see, Democrats "divining" voter intent from chads, while keeping military votes out; that's good.

The US Supreme CT stepping in and saying "no recount without a statewide standard"; that's bad.

If only Gore had been Prez on 9-11. Gore would have made Jimmy Carter look bold and decisive.

You'd have to be blind not to see the signs of election fraud. We won't debate it here, though.

Personal attacks again, Young. You really are quite a hypocrite.

Willis,

How exactly is that a personal attack? I venture to guess that you recognize yourself as being very Liberal.

That said, I'd go as far as to say that you are a very stupid liberal, as is evidenced by your lack of proof for ANY subject you choose to tackle. This is also not a personal attack, but rather an observation of the mentality and mannerisms you have shown.

I may not agree with many liberal views, but I respect when someone is able to make a statement based upon factual information. Simply making rash comments without any truth or factual information does not reflect well upon the writer.

Willis,

I don't care about hurting your feelings. I just want you to be able to have a civilized conversation with the rest of the class.
