CPAC Day 1
Day one of CPAC went very well. Towards the end I was able to meet Tony Blankley, and speak more to Congressman Hayworth. Old Virginia Senate candidate Oliver North was also there making a speech and selling books. While Congressman Tancredo got the crowd the most excited, the best speaker by far was Congressman Sam Johnson-a veteran who spoke about the war in Iraq. Two other VA bloggers were present: Stephen Braunlich, who called TC the "moderate" blog, and blogs on Save The GOP. and Spank the Donkey from Staunton. I also saw our RPV Chairwoman Kate Obenshain Griffin, who was signing calendars at the Claire Booth Luce Policy Institute Botth. Tomorrow is more packed than today with Senator Brownback, Ann Coulter, Senator Frist, Ken Mehlman and others. Come...buy a book from Steve Sisson, and meet Jim Parmelee...who I am told will be wearing something from LL Bean tomorrow.

TC; will you share with your readers what you will be wearing tomorrow?
Ah MC, glad you asked.
I will be sporting a nice Versini Black Suit from Mens Wearhouse.
Some black shoes from Mens Wearhouse, a dark blue shirt..and a nice tie.
and don't worry, I got my haircut.
Vincent:
Everyone knows this is your blog, it's all over the party whom you are!
Why do they need to ask what you are wearing?
Also, Jim's a friend of yours, he was out campaigning for Chris Craddock, what else would you say, "He looked terrible."
anon-
I can tell you're not a long-time blog reader.
For more information on this ongoing joke..checkout http://notlarrysabato.typepad.com/doh/2005/12/tom_davis_chris.html

You and Ann Coulter can hatch a plan to murder justice Stevens!
Vincent:
These people are asking for your opinion.
Do they people realize your only an intern on the "Hill."
Do they realize your not even 21?????
7:49 Anon: TC is a rising star in blogsphere and going places. Do I detect some jealousy?
MC-
I know I know..my critics sometimes.
They have such powerful critiques...that often move me into tears.
Sen. Allen gave a great speech tonight. And congratulations go to Paul Weyrich for receiving the Ashbrook award. Mr. Weyrich gave a moving acceptance speech and I really enjoyed his comments about the importance of the family.
I love how we were called a moderate blog the day I tore the Senate GOP a new one over taxes and told Chichester to move to Maryland where he belongs. :D
